this was a toss up. i also heart diane rehm but maybe i'll get to her in a future post... but back to terry. maybe it's because she's so tiny. she's like a smart, insightful wise little figurine. a miniature. and, you who are female have to recognize that men like small. we just do. small women have an undiscussed benefit. their scale makes all men seem larger... and don't think all men wouldn't like to feel large. and, no, i'm not talking about stature... i'm talking about down there. and don't you believe that terry gross is gay. she's been married for years. i'll bet she's a little lioness in the sack. i can hear that in her voice.
how can i say that?
take these two examples. terry is maybe, what, five foot nuthin'? she had bill o'rielly as a guest one time. the despicable o'rielly tops out at six feet four. yet she went nose to nose with him in the most tough, confrontational interview i've ever heard and... she held her ground causing big billy to get up and flee the studio. she kept on in his absence, reading excerpts from reviews that acussed o'reilly of bias.
then there was the gene simmons interview.
again, simmons is a massive presence... just his tongue alone is taller than terry gross. but she stood up to him as well. he swaggered and spouted... "If you want to welcome me with open arms, I'm afraid you're also going to have to welcome me with open legs," "That's a really obnoxious thing to say." the interview stayed that frosty throughout.
see? there's fire in that woman. fire and genius and humor and sensitivity. i can't believe all that would be found in a woman that wasn't great in the sack.
so, there you go. here's to terry gross. dead sexy.
the best way to clear muddy water is to leave it alone.

Terry Gross is one of the smartest people on radio today. KCRW used to run Fresh Aire, but they kept moving the program around.
Thank you for nudging me towards finding her again.

Terry's on KPCC now. At 2 and 7 p.m. daily.

I never heard that she's gay, but being married does not preclude her, most assuredly.
I like her too, but not quite the way you do.
