Recently celebrated 10 years in NYC. I sold out my theatre background and now I'm making my money in the corporate event world. (with my own business) I'm a slacker who sometimes works 20+ hour days, a confessed geek, and a bit of snob (or so I'm told). I'm a lapsed goth boy who can't believe his parents turned into Republicans. I love New York, and I think the key to that is leaving as much as possible.
I like black coffee, raisin bagels, and Manhattans. I'm thinking of getting a cat, or maybe a roomba.
I like creative people who have their shit together, and interesting people in general. I can talk for hours with all sorts, and I love learning new things from strangers.
My Ideal Person:
Someone to challenge me and keep me on my toes. Someone who will make me laugh and also call me on my shit. Someone who is also in love with NYC and travel. Someone not afraid to be silly. Someone with a passport. Someone who wears a dress or a skirt every now and then. Someone who has no problem staying out late and sleeping in once in a while. Someone who can introduce me to new authors, both "good" and "guilty pleasures."
The last great book I read I'm not sure about the last great book, but the last one I read was The Brooklyn Follies by Paul Auster.
My most humbling moment There are many. Consistently being humbled is a side-effect of constantly evolving and advancing.
Favorite on-screen sex scene I suck at movie recall, but as far as recent stuff goes, the one in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" is pretty hot.
The celebrity I resemble the most I have no clue. This seems to fluctuate the most depending on what I am doing with my hair that week.
The best or worst lie I've ever told "Mom, Dad... someone must have backed in to the car after I left it in the parking lot." (well, that's the best/worst that I will own up to here.
If I could be anywhere right now I'd be exploring a new city, with a camera and plans for nice dinner.
Five items I can't live without good food, good drink, good books, good music, and an internet connection!
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. confidence is sexy, intelligence is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... a very comfortable bed, NO TV!, a big pile of laundry (oops), and a lot of shoes.
